The Praxis Educational Leadership: Administration and Supervision (5412) is a test required by many states for credential candidates planning to work in administrative positions. It assesses the extent to which entry-level school leaders possess the skills needed for competent professional practice. It is a single, computer-delivered test that includes questions from six content domains.
The content categories are Strategic Leadership; Instructional Leadership: Climate & Cultural Leadership; Ethical Leadership; Organizational Leadership; and Community Engagement Leadership.
The test may contain several different types of questions including selected-response questions, clicking on part(s) of a graphic, selecting answers from a drop-down menu and dragging and dropping answer choices into targets on the screen.
